About Dark Bunny Sauces
In 2015, I started making a few hot sauces for myself and some friends. Nothing fancy, just some flavourful, mid-spice sauces. My friends said something to the effect of "These are great! You should make some more!" So I did. And then more people tried them and said "How much would you like for a bottle?" And my jaw kind of dropped to the floor for a moment.
That's where it came from. Well, that's how the business got started. A love of making people happy doesn't hurt. We take the time to make sure the sauces we make don't just burn, but that they taste good. The spice, in our opinion, should always enhance the food, not overpower it.
Our sauces are made from ingredients that we get locally, usually through any number of the farmers' markets here in Montreal or through grocery stores when we need to. Everything is chosen for a reason, and chosen carefully.
About the owner
What's to tell? My name is Christopher, though most people refer to me as Feli (rhymes with Kelly). The nickname stuck with me due to there being too many Chrises in the communities I frequent.
I was recently the chairperson for What The Fur, a furry convention held in Montreal annually from 2010 to 2017. Besides that, I used to work as an inbound phone representative for a really big telecom company.
But I honestly prefer the sauces.
