Good day one and all!
As you may know (or have guessed if you are particularly good at guessing things) Dark Bunny Sauces will be LIVE and IN PERSON at Furnal Equinox this coming March 15th to 17th in Toronto (go check their website for details, prices, recipe ideas… wait, that’s us…). And, being LIVE and IN PERSON means you get to meet us! And taste our sauces! Isn’t that awesome! (no tasting of us allowed at the convention) Even better though, you get to buy some sauces!
But, wouldn’t it be a shame if, say, you come to buy some sauces like… oh, I don’t know… Barbecued Beaver, and someone got there right as the room opened on the first day of the convention and bought all three 946ml jugs, 2 500ml bottles and six 250ml bottles of it up before you could get any? That would kind of suck, wouldn’t it? Myself, or one of the people working at the DBS Booth would look at you sadly and sigh, shrugging, and say the words that make you wish you’d have had a V8 – “You probably should have pre-ordered.” (and while we’re at it, make that V8 even tastier by adding one of your favourite Dark Bunny sauces to it, like Nuclear Narwhal or Groaning Gryphon)

After you go there, you pick out all of the sauces that you’re going to want to be able to get at Furnal Equinox this march. You go through the rest of the order as you usually would, and then, once you get to the last screens, you notice that there’s been a reduction in your price of 10%! Then you submit the order all while choosing FURNAL EQUINOX 2019 PICKUP as your shipping method.
Once you do that, we get to work in the Dark Bunny Warren, counting bottles, labels, boxes, probably swearing to ourselves, counting the bottles again, and then get everything ready. When you arrive at Furnal Equinox and get your spiffy badge, you come to our booth and say “Hello fine Dark Bunny people. I have placed a pre-order for your delicious and wonderful wares!” And, to the amazement of the other people nearby, you get your order right then and there! Even if it’s the last bottle of Heffalump!
Simple, eh?
So, make sure to get your pre-order in before March 1st to ensure we have it for you. On the website you may notice some items have a “Pre-Order” button rather than an add to cart. That’s okay! It’s just letting us know that we must make more! But be warned, not everything will be available for pre-ordering.
Also, remember that we do accept returns on empty bottles, and you get credit for every one given back to us! But please let us know ahead of the con if you’ll be bringing us back bottles. Just so we can plan on how to get them back.
Also, unlike years previously, we will not be implementing a “Pay at Convention” payment option on the website. All pre-orders must be paid at the time of ordering. If you can’t use credit cards, PayPal, or can’t send us an Interac transfer, please contact us at sales@darkbunny.ca or via the Telegrams, Googles, Twitters or Facebooks and we’ll see what can be done on an individual basis.
Also, to clear something up right here and now, here’s the fine print (and man, is it ever fine!):
-Dark Bunny Sauces reserves the right to refund, with proper reason, any pre-orders that cannot be accommodated.
-Dark Bunny Sauces will not honour free shipping on any orders marked as Furnal Equinox Pickup and which are not picked up at the convention proper. In the case where you have ordered and are not able to attend the convention and/or cannot have someone else collect your order, please contact us by March 20th 2019. Any contact not received by that date will be assumed to be abandoned.
-Dark Bunny Sauces assumes all responsibility for better tasting food, increased appetites, empty wallets and full luggage.
